I hate to leave a bad review for a small business but the staff here are incredibly rude and immature. It’s a shame since this is the closest cafe to our new home. We will not be returning.

While the staff at this cafe were very friendly the milkshake availability in South Milwaukee must be ROUGH, because fam, this place is not it. In checking in on some dietary restrictions, the staff shared their milk shakes use a gelatin base. These milk shakes taste like pudding with no other flavor and are clearly designed for your social media feed more than your mouth. Three shakes, three underwhelming and pudding forward flavor profiles. No thanks! If you are headed to Grant Park Beach this summer I'd mark this as a "miss".

I’ve been coming for what seems like years. I love everything about Better Together Cafe! What motivated my review today is Barista, Trinity’s consistent GREAT customer service. Not only does she make me feel welcomed but she remembers orders or when I get my hair done and etc. Thank you for making me feel special and seen in a world that isn’t always so kind! Give her a promotion and raise!

Drove almost 30 minutes from Racine to finally check this place out but left highly disappointed. Whoever runs their social media should train the employees on how to make the food and drinks because it’s very misleading. We ordered a banana Nutella latte and 2 strawberry waffles only to have no Nutella in the cup as pictured (literally is called banana NUTELLA) and the waffles only had a strawberry puree, not fresh strawberries. Neither matched what is shown on their social media. When I asked the employee why the drinks and food did not look like what was shown she said that’s not how they were trained to make it. Huh? Also ordered the strawberry pina colada refresher that had the smallest splash of cold foam on top again looking nothing like the pictures posted. No love went into making this drinks and the employee seemed annoyed to be working.

We found this cute , friendly and tasteful cafe! It's definitely worth the half hr drive! Great menu options. Edit: We drove 25 min just for a Breakfast sandwich. I too have a business and decided to satisfy my cravings after I closed. I was not expecting the staff to deny making a breakfast sandwich at 6pm when closing time is at 7. Will not come back.
